This tour takes you along the scenic Salzach Valley to Werfen, where the fortress of Hohenwerfen has protected the pass since the 11th century. Take a moment to enjoy the impressive view before we make our way to the parking lot of the caves. From there we continue on foot and via cable car to the entrance of the caves where your thrilling and chilling adventure begins: a walking tour through the wonderful world of unique ice formations. ITINERARY
Arrive Prague Airport at 0810 hrs; transfer & check in to the hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Prague.
Discover Prague not only by bus and walking but view the architectonic jewel also from the Vltava River with our combined tour! During this tour we will introduce Prague as a historic and architectonic jewel of Central Europe. Our guide will be with you the whole time, explaining the history of Prague and its neighbourhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) during the bus trip. The second part of the tour will take you to Prague castle where you visit the interior of this most important sight of Prague, St Vitus Cathedral. After approximately 60 minutes of guided walking tour you go to the bank of the Vltava River to get on board a boat where you can take a rest and relax admiring the beauties of Prague from a different view. Besides other bridges connecting both the river banks you will see the well known Charles Bridge from the boat. Then continue for a pleasant walk through the Jewish town to the Old Town Square (Prague Astronomical Clock and Tyn Cathedral) where the tour ends. INCLUDES: Transportation by bus and boat and service of a local guide. NOTE: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. This half day introduction to Budapest takes you to of all the major sights, from the Royal Castle to Heroes' Square. On this tour you will be passing by the Parliament building before crossing the Danube on the Margaret Bridge and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side of the city. Here you will have some free time to yourself to visit the Fishermen's Bastion which offers stunning views over the city and the Mathias Church. Your tour will continue to the Gillert Hill before crossing the Elisabeth Bridge from where you will drive towards the Heroes' Square. Passing by the Opera and St Stephen's Basilica you reach the Hotel Intercontinental where your tour ends. INCLUDES: Transportation by coach and services of a local guide. Breakfast at hotel. Then proceed to take a tour of the main sights within the city centre and visit the magnificently decorated rooms of Schonbrunn Palace. This city tour will introduce you to the the most important sights of the Austrian capital. As we drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. We then drive along the Danube Canal and pass by Hundertwasser's 'Kunsthaus' and the Prater Park with its Giant Ferris Wheel. The highlight of this programme is the visit to Schonbrunn Palace where we take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. We return to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, where you will have the opportunity to end your tour, or you can choose to continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends. INCLUDES: Transportation by coach, entrance and guided tour of Schonbrunn Palace. NOTE: You could also start this tour at the Opera house. In this case you will be transferred by shuttle bus to the Suedtirolerplatz, where the tour commences. Departure of the shuttle bus at Opera House is 30 minutes before the tour starts. Stroll through Mozart's Salzburg and take a closer look at the main sights of this picturesque city. We will show you the Mozarteum School of Music, the Marionette Theatre, the County Theatre, the house where Mozart lived, Trinity Church, the County Legal Courts, Nonnberg Abbey, Hellbrunn Palace where we will have a short stop, the Villa of Frohnburg, the Neutor tunnel, the Festival Houses, the Horsepond, Getreidegasse, the Church of St. Blasius and Mozart Square. You will also receive a ticket for a funicular up to Hohensalzburg Fortress, which dates back to the 11th century and is the largest in Europe, from where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. INCLUDES: Services of a local guide and return ticket in a funicular to Hohensalzburg Fortress. The Hohensalzburg Fortress have to be visited on your own, without the services of a guide. Aboard a fast and comfortable coach from central Innsbruck (30 minutes drive), you will be taken to the world famous Swarovski Crystal World, situated in Wattens. The water spouting Giant (a remarkable huge face sculptured on top of a rock) will amaze you with his sparkling eyes! Inside the Giant, a whole crystal world awaits you: the Chambers of Wonders containing the Planet of Crystals, the Crystal Dome, the Crystal Theatre, the Ice passage and the Floating Poem.
