- Great Barrier Reef Day Cruise to Reefworld ‐ Snorkel with a huge array of tropical fish. See coral formations that don’t exist anywhere else on the planet. And discover all the beauty of this natural wonder, with this relaxed day trip that’s suitable for the whole family. Travelling by catamaran, you’ll spend most of the day at Reefworld Pontoon, located on beautiful Hardy Reef. Here, you can enjoy a whole range of activities ‐ both above and below the water.
- If you don’t want to get wet, you can still enjoy the reef by taking a tour on Reefworld’s semi‐submarine, sit back in the large, 50‐seat underwater viewing chamber or look down into the Groper viewing hole. Optional extras: If you want to enhance your tour, you can also:
- Go scuba diving. If you’re already certified ‐ or want to take an introductory session ‐ speak to the Tour Desk about diving the reef.
- See Heart Reef from the air: Take an unforgettable, ten minute scenic helicopter ride over the iconic Heart Reef. This can be arranged on the boat ride out to the reef dependent on availability for the day and costs start at $135 per person.
- Take a guided Reef Safari. If you would like a deeper understanding of what you are seeing, we also offer a guided snorkelling safari. This can also be arranged on board the boat and costs start at $45 per person.
