Breakfast at the hotel. Travel south across the Canterbury Plains through Timaru and Oamaru to reach Dunedin early afternoon. Rest of the afternoon is free for optional activities such as wildlife cruises. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enter Fiordland National Park and travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains. On through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound Cruise. You will pass Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea. View the stirling and Bowen Falls as you cruise out to the Tasman Sea. Return to the pier where you re-board your coach for your return journey to Queenstown. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today a cruise on the vintage ‘Old Lady” the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm for an excursion at the Colonel’s Homestead. When you board the boat’s return journey, join in the sing-a-long session for a memorable 40 minutes trip. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we travel over the Lindis Pass to reach Mt Cook around lunchtime. A rare opportunity to take an optional scenic flight to view Mt Cook’s snow fields and Glaciers. We continue through to Lake Tekapo and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Early this morning a tour on the “Hot Air Balloon” is suggested if time permits. Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
